Digital Humanities Russia 2017

Call for papers

The Programme Committee invites submissions of abstracts for Digital Humanities Russia conference hosted by Siberian Federal University, 18 - 23 September 2017. The conference is supported by the Russian Digital Humanities Network, an Organization Partner to the European Association of Digital Humanities.The abstract deadline is 1 May 2017. The abstracts of maximum 700 words may relate to a diverse range of topics in digital humanities. The abstracts may present (but are not limited to) the proposals on the results of digitization projects or the projects of presenting/modelling humanities data in any digital media; library, archive and museum studies; text analysis and data visualization; open data; web and information technologies; digital pedagogy and teaching digital humanities; digital art.


The Programme Committee intends to notify presenters of acceptance by 1 June 2017.


The campus of Siberian Federal University is in Krasnoyarsk, a Russian city on the Transsiberian railway and the river Yenisey. The place is famous for its picturesque surroundings and beautiful hills. It is a major industrial city with a large federal university of 36, 000 students.
