One of modern linguistics’ key trends is the radical shift of language’s methodology and ontology. The current situation raises a variety of questions which seem interesting for professors, novice language researchers, students, teachers and even school pupils. The meeting of leading Russian and foreign language researchers with their colleagues from remote areas is a necessity for linguistics’ propaganda and promotion.

The 4th International Conference on Philology «Man and Language in the Communicative Space» is dealing with the following themes: common issues of language’s study and description, verbal communication (incl. internet communication, artistic communication and diachronic change of language’s communicative space, language and other forms of communication), questions of intercultural communication and language studies, contemporary scientific paradigms and education issues, language through the prism of different sciences.
We hope that, with its interdisciplinary approach to language, the Conference will open the floor for fruitful academic discussions and thus it will promote the newest perspectives on culturology, psychology, literature and many other humanities.

During the Conference the leading Russian and Foreign linguists are going to hold the roundtables on following topics: «Man in Contemporary Intercultural Aspect», «Russian Language Abroad», «The Modern City’s Polyphony», «The Effectiveness of Verbal Communication», «Linguistics In Krasnoyarsk Area: Key Issues and Prospects».

The Conference is traditionally held in Lesosibirsk Pedagogical Institute and has already become an outstanding platform for Russian linguists’ professional skills improvement, providing the facilities which help the language researchers to enter world’s scientific society and building working relationships between universities.
